The current operators surf school licence is due to expire on 31 January 2008. It appears a tender will not be held. In the past, the licence has automatically gone to the person who applied for it. However if you are interested in operating a surf school at these locations, lodge your interest in writing. If more than 2 parties are interested in a licence, then Council is obliged to not issue any permits until it considers all applications. Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993. www.warringah.nsw.gov.au
