ASI Training Course Discounts:

Eligibility
The term 'ASI School' covers all instructors delivering services to the public—whether they are paid or voluntary, operate as a mobile school or fixed school with premises, work solo, or manage a team of staff.
If you run your own business, whether independently or with employees, you qualify as a 'school' under this designation.
This opportunity is available to ASI Accredited Instructors.
Not an ASI instructor? You can transfer your current non ASI instructor qualifications and ASI Accredited school application, at the same time. Take advantage of ASI's special instructor transfer fees.
ASI Schools Accreditation Scheme
ASI developed the School Accreditation Scheme to ensure that ASI Accredited schools operate safely and uphold the highest international industry standards. These guidelines provide clear standards to ensure activities are safe and appropriate to students' skills and abilities.
ASI schools adhere to these standards to maintain quality, safety, and credibility.
Minimum Requirements for ASI Accredited Schools
As part of the Accreditation Scheme, ASI Accredited schools must meet specific criteria to ensure compliance with operational, safety, and documentation requirements.
ASI schools also have access to all necessary forms and documents to help them meet these standards effectively.
Risk Management and Safety
Maintain comprehensive procedures, including standard operations, risk management for activities and locations, workplace health and safety, emergency response, environmental impact plans, suitable waiver forms.
Customer Service
Establish processes for refunds, complaints, and feedback.
Business
Abide by the Code of Conduct for ASI Accredited Schools.
Follow ethical marketing standards.
Hold relevant insurance, if applicable for the country.
Adhere to relevant government laws, regulations and licencing requirements
Activities - ASI Operational & Safety Standards
Comply with ASI operational and safety standards (training, lessons, rentals, etc)
Abide by the ASI student-to-instructor ratios.
Provide safe, quality equipment, suitable for students' skill level and location.
Conduct activities only in safe, suitable locations with appropriate conditions.
Ensure non-discrimination against any group or individuals.
Implement child-friendly practices.
Instructors
Hold valid ASI instructor certification.
Hold current first aid and rescue certifications.

For surf schools, the owner must have at least ASI Level 2 Surfing Instructor certification (or ASI Level 1 with equivalent experience and skills).
