Aim
Deliver, plan and assess beginner to intermediate bodyboarding sessions.
Locations
- Beginner level bodyboarding locations: surf no larger than 1½ft (½ metre)
- Intermediate level bodyboarding locations: surf up to 3ft (1 metre)

Entry Requirements
Before enrolling in this course, you will have:
at least 250 hours bodyboarding experience
surfing skills and knowledge equivalent to ASI Intermediate Bodyboarding Level. Able to perform right or left hand turn, bottom turn, top turn, cut-back, spin (forward & reverse), roll, ability to link manoeuvres, in the top half of wave, below the lip, in 3ft surf.

Practical Hours Experience
Complete 25 hours practical work experience, assisting in the delivery of beginner bodyboarding lessons, at an ASI or approved Bodyboard or Surf school. Submit logbook of hours.
Workshop: after the workshop. Recognition of previous bodyboarding instruction experience can be provided.
Flexible Online course: after submitting bodyboarding skills video. Recognition of previous bodyboarding instruction experience can be provided.

Bodyboarding clothing
Bodyboard, fins, leash to demonstrate intermediate bodyboarding skills
Access to ASI bodyboarding or surf school to complete your practical hours training

Video camera or mobile phone to take video of practical skills
