Approved by the IPDJ, you will earn 1 Credit (1 Unidades de Crédito, IPDJ). This is a participation course only, with no formal assessment. Once you attend the workshop you are eligible to receive the IPDJ approved ASI course certificate.
There is a special discount fee for ASI Instructors.
Aim
Perform simple rescues in the ocean in breaking waves of 1 ½ feet (½ metre).
Locations
Surf no larger than 1½ft (½ metre)
Sandy beach and ocean floor with even gradient (no rocks or reef)

Identify emergency situations
Respond to emergency situations
Apply surf rescue techniques
Demonstrate simulated in-water rescues on conscious and unconscious patients
