ASI Instructors renew their Surfing Instructor qualifications each year.
The Process
Login in to your member area on the ASI website.
Complete the online renewal form and payment
Provide current copies of surf rescue and first aid certificates
Provide details of where you have completed 25 hours work, as a surfing instructor
If you do not have copies of your current surf rescue and first aid certificates, you can still renew, so you are registered. We do not issue your instructor certificate until you have sent us current surf rescue and first aid certificates. You cannot work as an instructor in the meantime.
