ASI in conversation with... Jordy Wichgers of IKSUP, in The Netherlands

n this podcast we talk to Jordy, the chief instructor for IkSUP in the Netherlands. In 2016 Jordy moved from the City of Almere to the village of Loosdrecht in The Netherlands. Loosdrecht has 2 lakes which Jordy started to explore on a paddle board. He was hooked and began his journey as a paddle boarder. Last year Jordy decided to join ASI as a certified instructor, and since then Jordy has enjoyed teaching, training enthusiastic paddlers, and competitively racing himself. In 2021 he decided to fully focus on SUP competitions in the Netherlands and took part in his first ever EuroTour in Namur. Jordy is keen to keep on developing as a racer this year, as well as dividing his time on the water with teaching at IkSUP.
