USA. HAWAII. The Molokai 2 Oahu Paddleboard World Championships, one of the world's most challenging paddle race was held last weekend 28th July 2019 - from the water at Kalua Koi on Molokai to the beach at the Maunalua Bay Beach Park bath house, Oahu , a distance of approximately 32 miles.
Terrene said:
“Well yesterday was one of those days I’d been waiting for. The Ka’iwi Channel turned it on. I had many moments where I’d link runs for hundreds of metres at a time, it was insane. I was actually able to conserve energy a little bit.. But it was still probably the toughest finish I’ve ever done. I could not escape that headwind.
But the feeling of coming in around China Wall knowing I was going to break the record comfortably was also something I’d been hoping for, for a long time.
So I ticked off my 3 goals- win, record and have fun”.
