SUP Jason Coiniry Award, Ocean to City Race. Cork Ireland

IRELAND. CORK. Congrats to ASI instructor and Trainer Paul Byrne for taking 1st in the SUP Jason Coiniry Award, Ocean to City Race.

Paul went to Cork to devote the day and the #oceantocity SUP Race (part of the Cork Harbour Festival which runs all week 1-9th June) to his good friend Jason Coiniry a former ASI Instructor who passed away.

Paul went with no expectations but at the 2km mark Paul found himself in the lead, at 9km mark he was still in the lead with the rest of the pack on his tail. Paul eventually won by half a board. A fitting tribute to a lost friend and fellow waterman.
