The Taiwan Paddle Games - SUP Competition and Festival - May 2019

TAIWAN.  The Taiwan Paddle Games is on 4-5 May 2019 at Jinshan Beach (only 1 hour from Taipei).  It’s the biggest SUP competition event in Taiwan, with a range of SUP race events designed for first time competitors to pro level and fun team events.  The competition festival is organised by the Taiwanese Chinese SUP Sports Association and the aim is introduce people to stand up paddling, have fun and meet like minded people.  

ASI Master SUP Coach, Glenn Eldridge, from the UK will be attending.  He will be offering tips and techniques for new paddlers and anyone interested in SUP for fun, racing  or even becoming an ASI SUP instructor.  Glenn is also an expert at SUP foiling and will be providing SUP foiling demonstrations.  

Professional SUP race competitors from around the world will also be attending and there will be a range of exhibitors and discounts of products for sale.

Taiwan has amazing SUP paddling locations.   The capital city of Taipei is a modern busting city, nestled amongst mountains covered with green forests and secret inland lakes and hidden temples.   The restaurants are world class with fresh seafood and unique local tasty Taiwan cuisine.  And the Taiwanese people are friendly and welcoming.    It’s definitely a place to see and visit and put on your bucket-list !
