On the 22nd July over 200 paddlers took to the river Trent for the Trent 100 challenge.

A 100k paddle set over 2 days, the Trent 100 is a team based event. Participants get to enjoy the picturesque river Trent whilst paddling through the midlands country side in the UK.
Conditions were favourable, although a heatwave the week before had made the river level drop slightly. The Trent team were fantastic and ensured the event went off without a hitch. No easy task when your co-ordinating 200 paddle boarders.
Chris Kenyon, CEO for the UK and Europe was at the event all weekend. Chris said ‘ It was so good to see so many paddlers taking on the Trent challenge. Due to covid this event has not gone ahead for the past 2 years so being able to put it on was encouraging to see. This kind of event is very special as its all about being part of a team not just racing. Its also a unique experience too as your paddling through some amazing countryside at the same time. I always enjoy the atmosphere of these events as everybody is up for it and super supportive. It was a real honour to be able to sponsor this event. And of course, there is always a great party on the final night!'
So we would like to say well done to both the participants and the organisers of the event and we are looking forwards to the Trent 100 in 2023.
