Meet the Team
Australian Surfing Adventures is owned and run by Jody Thomson. He is an ASI Level 3 Surfing Coach, elite surfer, an qualified travel agent, with extensive experience delivering surfing lessons and organising surfing tours.
The team at ASA has over 45 years surfing experience and know this coastline like the back of their hand.
They have the knowledge to find the best waves on any given day including a few secret spots and hidden gems.
The school is fully accredited with EcoGuide Australia and their instructors are fully qualified with ASI Certification as well as holding surf rescue and senior first aid qualifications.

Choose 1 day surf trips and lessons to 10 day surf camps and tours. 2 month camps are also available.

Jervis Bay is home to some unique surf spots like the Aussie Pipe at Summercloud Shipwrecks Bay, known for its powerful hollow right-handers. Other great spots include Steamers Beach, Cave Beach, and Bherwerre Beach, each offering different wave types and surfing experiences.
Jervis Bay is surrounded by the Booderee National Park. It spans 6,379 hectares, including 875 hectares of marine environment. It's home to pristine beaches, lush forests, and crystal-clear waters, coastal and boardwalks, with breathtaking scenery and a serene environment.
Booderee means "bay of plenty" in the Dhurga (Aboriginal) language. The Booderee Botanic Gardens are Australia's only Aboriginal-owned and managed botanic gardens, covering 80 hectares, showcasing native plants and provide a unique insight into the traditional customs.
Jervis Bay is renowned for its dolphin and whale watching. There is a great variety of other water activities.
Nearby is Huskinsson, a charming village is the heart of Jervis Bay, offering cafes, restaurants, shops, and beautiful beaches.
