Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Broadbeach Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at Broadbeach, Gold Coast Queensland.  It's a favourite place to learn to surf. 

Broadbeach Surf School is owned and operated by Will Forgan-Smith.  He is an advanced level surfer, grew up on the Gold Coast and has surfed all over the world.   

Will has spent many years teaching surfing at Broadbeach Surf School to people of all abilities and ages

He has a degree in engineering and has worked in both the mining and construction industry. But he is back doing what he loves most, and that’s meeting new people and sharing the joy of surfing!

Will is assisted in the surf school with qualified surfing instructors, holding surf rescue and senior first aid qualifications. 

Broadbeach Surf School offers group and private surfing lessons, beginner, intermediate surfing certificate courses, surfing awareness, surf tours, board rentals for kids, adults, parties, school groups, travellers and corporates. 

The school specialises in people who have had one or 2 lessons and want to become a proficient surfer to intermediate to semi advanced level. 

The Surfing Improvement classes are for those wanting to take their surfing to the next level!

Broadbeach is a beach break that offers a range of conditions – an ideal location to do your surfing apprenticeship.   If you can become a competent surfer in Broadbeach, you can surf just about anywhere!

It is the next beach down from Surfers Paradise but Broadbeach is much quieter and more laid back which can be ideal for people wanting to experience an uncrowded surfing experience on the Gold Coast.
