Meet the Team
Exmouth Surf Centre was established in 2014 and is owned and run by Tom and his partner Jana who had been travelling the world in search of a Surfing and Kiting paradise. They found it in Exmouth, North Western Australia. It’s a surfing paradise. With its uncrowded surf breaks, perfect beginner waves as well as advanced level surf locations. All set against the scenic Cape Ranges.
Tom is an accomplished and passionate watersports instructor. Coming from a kitesurfing and surfing background, he worked around the world in countries as far reaching as Mexico and Portugal before setting up the school in Exmouth, WA.
Tom and Jana started Exmouth Surf Centre as a way to introduce the sports they are passionate about to an ever-growing local and tourist population. There was nowhere for people looking to learn to surf, kitesurf or SUP in what is essentially a watersports paradise, so they took the opportunity to establish their own business in the area they fell in love with.
Tom is an ASI Accredited surfing instructor, stand up paddle instructor and an IKO kite surf Instructor. He is assisted in the surf school by a team of ASI accredited instructors.
Tom brings his skills and experience in a range of watersports, his passion for the different disciplines and for the area where he found his surfing nirvana to offer his customers a unique and unforgettable experience on the water.
