Meet the Team
Islandmagee SUP is owned and operated by Adam Livingstone. He’s been paddling since 2018 he was introduced to SUP by a friend. Since then, he has paddled mostly around the east coast of Northern Ireland, and even paddled 80 miles covering the length of the River Bann. This included crossing Lough Neagh (the largest lake in the British Isles).
Adam holds ASI SUP Instructor qualifications, rescue and first aid, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been an Aerospace Engineer for over 15 years.
Adam’s love of SUP and the outdoors resulted in him setting up the Islandmagee SUP. Living close to the sea and out paddling regularly, he would get asked lots of questions about his SUP board and how he got started.
He decided to create an opportunity for people to learn the correct technique in a safe environment, and see the stunning scenery in which he paddled in each day.
He is assisted in the SUP school by ASI accredited SUP instructors.
