Learn how to stand up paddle, have SUP lessons and participate in SUP Yoga and SUP Fitness sessions at Leanne Bird Wellbeing & Adventure, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, located at Cligerran, Pembrokeshire, Wales UK, only 2.5 hours drive from Cardiff.
Specialising in mental and physical wellbeing by offering SUP paddling lessons and tours, SUP yoga and SUP fitness.
Owner operator Leanne Bird, spent 10 years as a professional Ecologist, before deciding to become involved in health and wellbeing. Combining her love of nature with fitness, SUP, Yoga, wellbeing, adventure and the outdoors.
Set in the countryside, with beautiful scenery and ideal paddling locations on inland waters and the ocean. SUP locations are specially chosen so you can relax, de-stress, and enjoy the activities, learn new skills and/or get fit.
Paddle along the River Teifi, through a nature reserve with a beautiful wooded valley with a variety of birds and wildlife including otters.
Join in SUP Yoga sessions on the inland serene Llandysul Lake. Or enjoy the healing salt air at Aberystwyth beach, a seaside location that offers a peaceful location, ideal for yoga.
SUP fitness sessions are at various locations. Swap the gym for the outdoors, with exercises performed on a SUP board.
If you would like a career in the industry, Leanne is also authorised to train others to be ASI SUP Instructors, SUP Yoga Teachers or SUP Fitness Instructors.

Meet the Team
Leanne Bird Wellbeing & Adventure was established in 2013 and is owned and run by Leanne Bird. Having spent 10 years as a professional Ecologist, Leanne decided go into the health and wellbeing sector and developed her skills and passion to combine fitness, SUP, Yoga, wellbeing, adventure and the outdoors.
She started Leanne Bird Wellbeing & Adventure after training to become a Yoga Teacher. Leanne combines her love for yoga, paddle boarding and the environment, being the first to do so in West Wales.
Leanne Bird holds ASI SUP Instructor, ASI SUP Yoga teacher and ASI SUP Fitness Instructor qualifications, water rescue and senior first aid certificates. She is a 200 hour Yoga Teacher (member of Yoga Alliance UK), studied in Thailand and has a wealth of Yoga teaching and SUP yoga teaching experience.
Leanne brings her wealth of ecological knowledge, skills and experience in fitness, Yoga, SUP and health and wellbeing to offer a unique experience on the water.
She is assisted in the SUP school by experience and accredited instructors.
Leanne Bird Wellbeing & Adventure is also an ASI instructor training centre, and Leanne is authorised to train SUP Instructors, SUP Yoga and SUP Fitness Instructors.

Location Features
SUP activities take place on the River Teifi which is a great flat water place to learn to learn SUP or have SUP Yoga and SUP fitness sessions.
The River Teifi is a Special Area of Conservation and has beautiful wooded valley alongside the river. The wildlife on the river includes birdlife, flocks of curlews, bats, and otters.
You can paddle through an area of marshland which is a beautiful nature reserve.
It’s very peaceful and relaxing for paddling and for SUP yoga sessions.
Other locations include Cardigan bay, which has sheltered bays, sandy beaches and where dolphins and seals are regular visitors. Cardigan Castle is situated right on the water.
