Meet the Team
Noosa Learn to Surf is owned and operated by Merrick Davis. He's a two times Australian and World Pro Am Surfing Champion, who travel the world surfing and competed until 1995 on the World Professional Circuit. Merrick is originally from Sydney's northern beaches but has lived most of his life in Noosa.
Merrick started his surf school at Noosa in 1996. They are one of the most established surf schools in the world and has been involved in developing learn to surf techniques and industry surf school standards over the years.
Merrick is a qualified ASI Level 3 Surfing Coach holding surf rescue, senior first aid and advanced resuscitation qualifications.
Noosa Learn to Surf has a team of experienced ASI accredited instructors, who are elite surfers, and personally trained by Merrick.

Noosa Learn to Surf offers group and private surfing lessons for beginner to advanced levels for families, backpackers, travellers, universities, school groups, language schools, and corporates.
They specialise in large groups, including school sports and students from language schools
School holiday safe surfing programs are available for children over 7 years of age.
They also cater for Corporate/Team building days, being educational, fun and tax deductible.
Private coaching for advancing your surfing skills up to competition level is available.
