Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons at Northern Beaches Surf School, an ASI accredited surf school, located at Mullaloo Beach North in Perth.   It’s just 25 minutes drive north from the Perth city centre.

Northern Beaches Surf School is owned and operated by Carly Bruce.   She is an advanced level surfer, and competed on the World Qualifying Series (WQS) for 5 years.  She still competes in local competitions and state rounds. In 2019, she was the WA Women's Masters State Champion.

Carly have been surf coaching since 2004.   She holds ASI Level 2 Surfing Instructor, first aid and surf rescue qualifications.  She also holds with a double major in Environmental Science and Marine Science at Murdoch University and a First Class Honours in Marine Science at Murdoch University.

She set up the surf school due to her passion for surfing.  To give back to the next generation, to help provide support and mentoring for people interested in surfing, no matter what their age.   Seeing people learning to surf and / or improving their surfing ability is really satisfying, says Carly.

Carly is assisted in the surf school by experienced ASI accredited surfing instructors.

Northern Beaches Surf School offers group and private surfing lessons, Surf Wise beginner surfing certificate courses, team building, surfing awareness, rentals for kids, adults, parties, school groups, parties and corporates.

She aims to provide the best surfing experience possible.  By providing a more personalised approach, offer technique feedback to help improve surfing ability in an easy to understand format.

Surf lessons are held at Mullaloo Beach North.   It has a pristine sandy beach, beautiful water that is so clear you can see the sunlight rays reflecting off the sandy bottom.   And ideal waves for learning to surf and improve technique. 

At the beach are toilets and showers, drinking fountain and parking.

Mullaloo Hotel and Swell Restaurant are at Mullaloo Beach to the south, where Mullaloo life saving club is situated.
