Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons with Santai Surf School, an ASI accredited learn to surf school, located at Seminyak with lessons at Double 6 Beach.  It’s one of Bali’s most popular beaches to learn to surf.

Santai Surf School is owned and operated by Gede Adnyana.  He is Balinese, an advanced level surfer and has had a deep connection with the ocean from an early age, as his family are fisherman from a small village. 

He got hooked on surfing when visiting Legian Beach and decided to make a career as a surfing instructor.  Gede started working with different surf schools throughout Bali. He has excellent knowledge of the local surf breaks and has provided lessons to thousands of students from beginner to advanced level.

Santai Surf School was established in 2012, with the help and encouragement from his English wife, Henney.  He wanted to offer something different, to share and teach his passion in a unique way and that also includes culture of the Bali.  Our aim is to make you feel like family and not a number.

Gede holds ASI Level 3 Surfing Coach, surf rescue and first aid qualifications.   He is assisted in the surf school by a small team of dedicated, and fun local Balinese ASI accredited surfing instructors.

Santai Surf School offers group and private surfing lessons, for beginner to advanced level, team building, surfing awareness for kids  adults, parties, school groups, parties and corporate groups.

Rentals and surf guiding is also available.

Corporate groups and school sports groups can also be accommodated.  they can tailor the surfing activities to suit time frames and skill levels.

Santai Surf School are located right on Double 6 Beach.  They have beach chairs and umbrellas and refreshments so you relax before and after your surfing session. Or watch your kids or friends surfing !

Numerous cafes and restaurants are also located along the beach road.

Surf lessons are held at Double 6 Beach, at Legian.  It one of the best places in Bali to learn to surf with soft beach sand and small waves. 

Intermediate and progression lessons can also be held here with suitable waves nearby.

For the more experienced, surfing sessions are held at various locations around Bali, depending on the conditions and your ability.
