Meet the Team
Stand Up Paddle Boarding St Kilda was established in late 2008, and, as the popularity of SUP grew, along with the desire from the local community to learn a safe, accessible and fun sport, Stand Up Paddle Boarding HQ, St Kilda was formed.
Owned and owned by Carlos Botero and Hayato Miki. They are both avid kitesurfers and experienced stand up paddle boarders holding kitesurfing and SUP instructor qualifications. With a love of the outdoors and being out on the water, you will find them kitesurfing when its windy and when there is no wind, they are out on their paddleboards.
They both bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to SUP lessons and tours ensuring that students of all skill levels feel confident and excited on the water.
Hayato also has a background in physiotherapy and sports injuries, and combines his expertise in physical fitness with his love for paddleboarding, to improve technique, build strength, whilst having fun on the water.
