Meet the Team
Sudkap Surf School is owned and operated by Christopher Bunger. He is an advanced level surfer and has surfed around the world including Bali, Australia, Hawaii. Chris loves being out on the water. He was a competitive swimmer and lifeguard, and holds instructor qualifications in surfing, dingy sailing, catamaran sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
He founded the surf school in 2012 with only 5 surfboards and a vision to bring a lot of people closer to the feeling of surfing. It all started when he wanted to become a professional windsurfer. He spent 10 years abroad and gained relevant professional experience there in the hospitality industry, as a surfing and sailing instructor and as a surfing school manager before he dared to take the step to set up his own surf school.
Chris is assisted in the surf school with experienced ASI qualified surfing instructors.
