Learn how stand Up paddle board and have SUP lessons and tours at SUPwereld, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school located at 's-Hertogenbosch at Engelermeer (Den Bosch), 1 hrs drive south east of Amsterdam.

SUP activities take place on a beautiful lake, with nature all round, making it an ideal location to stand up paddle.

SUPwereld is owned and operated by Edwin Lieven, born and raised in Den Bosch.  With a natural love of a variety of sports,  Edwin had been waterskiing, windsurfing and swimming all of his youth. First discovering SUP around 2005. It wasn’t until 2014 until SUP became a weekly part of his life, with his love and passion for paddleboarding really beginning to expand.

Stand up paddling soon became not just a hobby, but a lifestyle that he was involved with daily. Finding a lot of satisfaction in introducing others to this great form of water sport, Edwin feels being outdoors is so important for us and loves to get people out on the flat waters.

In 2020, Edwin felt the need to bring people with a SUP-board together so they could get out on the water more.  Setting up SUPwereld has allowed him to achieve this while also supplying the best SUP gear through his website. Enjoying the flatwater inland paddle locations of his hometown, giving lessons and training sessions.

SUPwereld have a big team with enthusiast and experienced SUP instructors and SUP supervisors who all love to take you out on the water.

SUPwereld offers group and private lessons on beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, SUP Wise learn to SUP certificate courses and a variety of SUP great tours and other activities.

They specialise in SUP test-sessions (group and private).  Where  you can try-out the different boards, giving you the confidence in finding the best equipment suitable for you. You can also gain knowledge of the different brands, shapes and materials

The SUPwereld shop, is over 1000m2 and has a large range of SUP boards, paddles and gear, from several high end brands such as Red Paddle, Naish, Jobe, MOAI and many more. 

SUPwereld school offers flat water stand up paddling at several locations, at their official location in Engelermeer in the town of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, colloquially known as Den Bosch.

The space where lessons are conducted is a beautiful lake with nature all around. There is also a beach recreation area that is clean and safe to use for all water sports enthusiasts.

No motorised boats are allowed on this lake, which means you can enjoy your paddling on smooth waters, free from noise.

Facilities include a 1000m2 shop, ladies and gents toilets, changing rooms, free car parking area, several modern classrooms with all facilities kept clean and safe. 

Refreshments are available at the shop. 

A beach rescue team is at the SUP spot from May until September.
