Meet the Team
Sussex Inlet Stand Up Paddle is owned and operated by Madeline Rayner. Her paddleboarding journey began in 2009 when her husband introduced her to the sport. She quickly became captivated, and within a year, the entire family had their own paddleboards and regularly enjoyed stand-up paddleboarding at their local surf breaks.
As a family of avid surfers, paddleboarding became another water sport they could enjoy together. Madeline and her family continue to explore various surf breaks along the coast and even abroad.
In pursuit of combining her passions, Madeline decided to become a SUP instructor while maintaining her career as a qualified Fitness/Pilates instructor.
Earning her accreditation as an ASI SUP paddleboarding instructor and ASI SUP Fitness Instructor allowed her to merge these interests seamlessly. Given that Madeline was already managing her own fitness business, establishing a SUP school was a natural progression.
Since 2013, Sussex Inlet Stand Up Paddle has been a leader in offering SUP lessons, SUP fitness and SUP tours in the local area.
