About Us
Learn how to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons and SUP tours at Wild SUP Tours, an ASI accredited SUP school, located at Dingle, on the southwest coast of Ireland, about a 4 hour drive from Dublin.
Meet the Team
Wild SUP Tours is owned and operated by Edward Lacey and Oona Tibbetts. They are both experienced paddlers, having been introduced to the sport in 2015.
Ed has BSc in Environmental Science, surfing instructor qualification and previously worked as an environmental tour guide, in the Tralee Bay Wetlands.
Oona has participated in SUP races in USA and Ireland. In 2019, she paddled approx. 550km of the west coast of Ireland from Kinsale co. Cork to Spanish Point Co. Clare in an effort to inspire people to take action against climate change and marine pollution.
Driven by their passion for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), the outdoors, nature, and adventure, they decided to transform their enthusiasm into a fulfilling career. In 2016, they founded Wild SUP Tours, which has since become a leading provider of SUP tours and lessons in the Dingle area.
They both hold ASI Level 1 and Level 2 SUP Instructor qualifications for inland waters and exposed coastal waters, as well as rescue and first aid, and re assisted in the SUP school by ASI accredited SUP instructors.

These areas are renowned for their spectacular natural beauty. As designated Special Areas of Conservation, they are home to an incredible array of wildlife.
Spot seals, dolphins and Atlantic Salmon in the water and a range of other fish as you paddle along.
On the shore you may see red deer and the rare indigenous sika deer, otters and foxes, butterflies and bats, along with unique species like the natterjack toad and the Kerry slug. Birdlife includes puffins, gannets, terns, white-tailed eagles, and peregrine falcons.
