About Aaron

Aaron is an experienced waterman, a previous competitive swimmer, water polo player, surfer, stand up paddler, professional lifeguard and professional fisherman.

He grew up in Hawaii, is an elite surfer and SUP surfer with over 40 years surfing gained in and around Hawaii and the world.  He also completed 7 years as a Hawaiian professional lifeguard.

Now living in Florida, Aaron has a SUP School offering lessons, guided tours in the mangroves and the ocean as well as general waterman skills programs and surfing lessons.

Through his SUP School, Aaron has delivered lessons to thousands of students from all backgrounds, created children’s programs, kids camps to adult programs.  He also creates customised SUP and activity programs for one on one coaching.  

Aaron has a wealth of experience on the water, gained in all types of conditions and in SUP school operations, training instructors, lesson and activities delivery.

• Trains ASI SUP instructors in USA

• Owner of stand up paddle school Surfit USA, Saratosa Florida

• Organises and conducts SUP paddleboard trips to Juneau Alaska and Kauai, Hawaii
