About Lynne
Lynne is an experienced educational facilitator, stand up paddler, stand up paddleboard instructor and trainer.
She has been paddling since 2008 and is the Founder of Ultramissions in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, the Midwest’s only ASI accredited Stand Up Paddleboard school, since 2010.
Lynne has extensive experience in the educational sector. Prior to founding Ultramissions, she held positions as teacher, principal and instructor for experiential learning, at colleges and universities across the USA.
Lynne has a PhD in Learning & Development from Cleveland State University, with an emphasis on experiential learning and Outward Bound and holds a permanent teaching certificate in the State of Ohio.
She is the creator of Ultramissions – the world’s first program that combines paddleboarding with experiential learning and the tenets of Outward Bound.
Lynne has worked as a SUP Instructor in various countries including the USA and Australia. She has a wealth of expertise in facilitation and instruction, SUP program development, and school operations, and has been a passionate and active leader in developing SUP worldwide.
