About Sanna

Sanna is a highly experienced stand up paddler and trainer as well as a professional lifeguard with over 10 years of experience.

Based in Kalajoki, Finland, Sanna has been involved in SUP since 2010.

During summers she was operating a SUP School at Kalajoki beach. She is also working as the Chairman of Finnish Boardsailing Association. In those roles she is working passionately working with  improving the ways of safe and sustainable stand up paddling, helping to develop racing and recreational SUP.

Through the Surf Center in Kalajoki Sanna has delivered hundreds of clients from beginner flat water level and beginner surf. She also organizes SUP racing events.

Sanna is a beach and water rescue specialist, specialised in IRB (Inflatable Rescue Boat) rescue and windsurf & kite rescues.

She regularly travels the world finding more places and ways to SUP. Her favourite companion on SUP is the family dog “Pulla”, a Spanish Waterdog who just loves go for a paddle!
