About Rhys

Hailing from Angourie, NSW, Australia, Rhys has over 35 years surfing experience and has travelled the globe searching for the best waves on the planet.

He is an experienced surf instructor, teaching at many schools from all around the world and has been operations manager for Mojosurf across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia for nearly 15 years.

Rhys holds a degree in Exercise Science and Sport Management and is committed to a life of staying active and sharing his passion for surfing.

• ​Surfing since the age of 2 years old, growing up in Angourie under the guidance of some of Australia’s surfing legends

• Trains ASI surfing instructors in Indonesia

• Surfing instructor, since 2005, coaching beginner to advanced level

• Surf coaching throughout Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, The Netherlands, and Indonesia

• Operations Manager of Mojosurf (Australia/Indonesia/New Zealand) since 2008
