About Tom
Tom Johnston is an elite advanced surfer and experienced surfing coach. He has been surfing from a young age, was a member of the local boardriders club and represented Western Australia in the State Boys surfing titles at Philip Island, Victoria.
He was previously a swim coach and a director of Ocean Heros, a charity that encouraged people with autism to become active through surfing.
Tom has been surfing coaching since 2006, and has coached in both Australia and the UK.
As the owner of Perth Go Surf, Tom has taught 1,000s of people surfing and delivered instructors courses in Australia and Bali.
