ASI Launches SUP Instructor Fasttrack Courses

ASI is proud to unveil the new SUP Instructor Fasttrack courses - designed for those with busy schedules who still want high-quality, face-to-face instruction. This hybrid learning program combines online coursework with a condensed in-person workshop, reducing time, travel, and costs while ensuring a thorough and engaging learning experience.

During the workshop, participants will master essential skills through hands-on water practice, demonstrations, and key theory sessions in the classroom. After the workshop, attendees submit video assessments to complete their certification.

Fasttrack Options:

• Level 1 SUP Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water): A one-day practical session covering SUP Wise Intensiv (SUP skills), SUP Rescue skills, and Level 1 SUP Instructor (instructing techniques). Perfect for those teaching at inland locations.

• Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters): A half-day (3-hour) session for existing Level 1 SUP Instructors looking to teach at coastal locations.

• A one and half day practical session, covering 4 courses - SUP Wise Intensiv (SUP skills), SUP Rescue skills, Level 1 SUP Instructor and L2 SUP instructor (instructing techniques).

For added convenience, you can enrol in all four courses at once, streamlining your path to certification.

Or choose to enrol in one course or all—ASI’s modularised learning system gives you the freedom to tailor your enrolment and payment to suit your needs.

Full Workshops

For those who prefer a more comprehensive experience, ASI still offers the “Full Workshop” courses, where you can complete most of your course requirements with a trainer during the workshop. The only post-workshop tasks are completing an online quiz and logging your practical experience hours—required for both formats.

The typical “Full” workshop format is:

Day1:
SUP Wise Intensiv – SUP skills (3 hours)
SUP Water Safety Rescue (4 hours)

Day 2-3:
Level 1 SUP Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water)
2 days, 9am to 5pm

Day 4:
Level 2 SUP Instructor (Exposed Waters)
1 day. 9am to 5pm
