Working in Australia 2024-25
Summer months are November 2024 to May 2025. Instructors are in demand over this time.
Hold ASI instructor certificate (transfer to ASI may be possible) See Courses
Must hold Australian first aid certificate (Course code HLTAID011) See First Aid certificates info
Overseas rescue certificates may be accepted See Rescue certificates info
Working with children check required, depending on which state you live in (your school owner will advise on this).
Working in Northern Hemisphere. 2025
Northern Hemisphere includes UK, Ireland, Europe and USA. Summer months are April to September. Instructors are in demand over this time.
Working in Portugal
Summer months are April to October. Instructors are in demand. Plus surf / SUP camp staff for cleaning, cooking, transporting etc. Surf camps often include accommodation.
To work as an Instructor in Portugal, you will need to hold the Treinadores de Surfing Grau I course. ASI is the only international training organisation approved to deliver these courses. Read more…
